Whilst I’m busy
constructing this personal effort towards “Social Ragnarök;” I invite you to a viewing of my
previous of my other two Halloween retrospectives currently online. And a caveat: while not intentional, given the social environments’ at which these
images were taken -- these pages were not designed with young children in mind.

By having this initial page up and running; I hope make my request’s
in just prior to Devils Night & Halloween; for image taking opportunities
at various institutions and establishments of the Ann Arbor area more
believable -- in both implementation and benign intent.
Below you though are the images I managed to take prior to October
30th & October 31st.
Hopefully if all goes well, more are to follow?

Halloween 2008
proper began for me on the 23rd of October, when I read in the Michigan Daily of a Haunted House being thrown for
charity by the Sigma Phi at the University of Michigan. This event
needless to say, drew me to it like the tone deaf to a Motley Crew concert.
After screwing up a map search that had me roaming about Ann Arbor for an hour
and a half; I finally managed to find it….

…fortuitously,
in retrospect; they were soon to close. after I explained to them of this
project purpose and subsequent history; they provided me with something of an
extended personal tour. So, my special thanks and my personal regards, for
those who provided such an excellent start to the Halloween season...

~ Epilogue (For Now) ~
You should know that you’re not exactly are dealing with a “Social
Genius” here; let alone a technical inclined one at that (as you will note with
the numerous flaws on these web-sites presented).Thusly, I find it is somewhat
ironic while in the process of updating 2007’s web-page. I've decided to be a
little proactive for what will be for this year’s piece of
amateurish-Halloween-anti-glory. A site that I’ve noted as of late gets more
attention outside of Ann Arbor, then within it?!
At this point and time, I have no real plans as of now. With time
and weather permitting, I hope those traditional events such as Thayer Street
and perhaps others like Sigma Alpha Epsilon will allow me back? Time will be
tight since Halloween will be on a Friday this year. With that being
stated, I intend to be active on the October nights of the 30th, and
of course, the 31st – for images taking opportunities at present. I
therefore decided to post entries on both of my blogs on MySpace (for a wide net approach) and tribe.net (my primarily socially network) if
necessary.
